Scrub a dub dub..x..

Hi beautiful ones!! 😊

We all love a good body scrub to wash away traces of dry and old skin, and this coconut scrub from the Body Shop is beyond amazing. I have been a huge fan of almost everything from the body shop for years. Everything smells amazing and the creams are so moisturising and nourishing on my skin. This coconut scrub has really small sandy grains and if you rub them in a nice circular motion the results are amazing. My skin feels silky soft and really smooth – its a great treat! 😊 Do any of you use any body shop products?!

Lip Therapy!..x..

Hi lovelies! 😉

Taught, for today, that I might share my my views on one of my staple lip glosses – Clarins Colour Quench Lip Balm. I use the pink shade, as I find it goes with everything and is perfect for every day use. The colour is long lasting and the shiny gloss greatly moisturises my lips. For me it’s important that a lipgloss also acts as a balm as my lips can tend to be quite dry at times. The one con I have with this product is that the texture is a bit sticky, which is not so great on a windy day as everything sticks to my lips. Not so attractive! 😉 Overall, however, the product is great and I really do love it. I can’t wait to try out some of the other shades. 😊

Bionic Oil!..x..

After hearing so many reviews and opinions on Bio Oil, I decided it was time I invested in a bottle and tried it out for myself.

I have always had very dry skin – I drink gallons of water on a daily basis, but still frequently get small little dry patches on my skin, for some unknown reason. So after hearing about Bio Oil and how great it is for dry skin I said I’d give it a go, and I was pleasantly surprised and delighted with the results.

The texture of the oil isn’t too watery like some other oil based products I’ve used before. It spreads easily and drys in super quick – no sitting around waiting for the oil to soak in. 😉 Since I started using the oil a couple of weeks ago, I’ve already noticed a huge difference in my skin. It’s much smoother and there are much fewer dry patches. My skin is rehydrated and looking better thank ever!

I would definitely recommend Bio Oil to all of my readers. It suits almost all skin types and is great for dry skin, scars and stretch marks – although it’s more of a preventative I reckon than a solution. Bio Oil is available nationwide in all pharmacies, priced at around €10 – a bargain! 😉

Big Beautiful Eyes!..x..

Happy Monday Everyone! 🙂

I dunno about all of you, but here in Dublin, Ireland, we had a beautiful sunny day – which is a rarity in all fairness. 😉 What better than to start the week talkin about one of my favorite everyday eyeshadow palettes, Benefits Big Beautiful Eyes. Now this palette has been around for some time and I’ve been a fan of it for a lonnnnggg time. It consists of three brown shades, which when you have blue eyes like myself you tend to wear a lot of :), there is also a concealer, which is great for any shadows in the under eye area, and there are two handy sized little brushes. The pack itself is quite compact so it easily fits into the smallest of makeup bags – perfect for on the go, there’s even a mirror! 😉 The little eyeliner brush is my favorite little brush ever also, it’s so teeny tiny but does an amazing job at blending and perfecting eyeliner and eyeshadow. There’s even a little booklet included inside the pack, which illustrates a step by step guide to creating the perfect contoured eyes – really what more could a girl need? 😉 This entire set is available in most pharmacies and department stores for around €35.

Hair Insurance..x..

So, my darlings!

As we all know over here in Ireland we really don’t get too much sunshine at all at all, – unfortunately! 😦 – but for anyone heading off somewhere sunny for the last few weeks of “summer”, or for any of you lucky enough to be living somewhere where the sun always shines, sunshine and hair can equal disaster! 😦 my one stop solution which I never go abroad without, is Aussie Miracle Hair Insurance Leave in Conditioner. This spray is fantastic and helps give my hair a little bit of added TLC after a long days hard work at the beach! 😉 we all know how salt water and the sun can really dry out our hair, especially of using hair dryers and straightening irons on top of it all, so I always continuously spray my hair with this delicious Aussie spray when I’m on my holliers. It smells amazing – good enough to eat – and the results are great. I spray my hair after swimming and while sunbathing, and also after my shower before blow-drying the hair. It like a bit of added insurance! 😉 so go on, treat yourself! Aussie leave-in conditioners are available in most pharmacies and supermarkets, and aren’t too pricey either, which is always an added bonus! 😉 xoxo

A Midweek Nail Treat..x..

So, woke up this morning and felt like a little treat – I mean I do deserve it right? 😉 Lol! So decided to get a little file and polish done in my faithful NailsInc Counter in Brown Thomas. Nothing better to perk up a girls week than having fabulous nails right? 😊💅 Nails Inc polishes have been a favourite of mine for quite some time. They come in such a huge variety of shades, and even do really cool glitter and crackle effects. There really is a polish for every occasion! I decided to go for a nice neutral colour – called Porchester Square – its kind of a purple/silvery beige. It’s fab! And will go with everything. The girls always do such a good job at applying, and my nails were touch dry in just five minutes, which is amazing! 😉 I also decided to purchase the polish as I like it so much – and I know I’ll get great use out of it. Decided to purchase another two shades also, an orange shade called Wellington Square and their new silver shade called Mayfair. What do you think of the colours?

THE best eye make-up remover EVER?? x

So my darlings,

I taught for today’s post I would do a review on Clarins Instant Eye Make-up Remover, which is one of the most popular products in the Clarins Beauty range. To be honest I actually discovered this product by accident – it was a freebie when I was purchasing my moisturizer and primer 😉 – but I have fallen in love with it.

Image

The product itself is a rose and cornflower blend so it’s a really gentle, oil based product, which easily removes all traces of heavy make-up. I was out last night and you know yourself, it can be quite tricky to remove all of the eyeshadow, eyeliner, mascara and eyelash glue that a girl simply can’t go without on a night on the town! 😉 But Clarins Instant Eye Make-up Remover gets rid of everything in a flash! I always shake the bottle vigorously before use, then soak two cotton pads with the liquid and hold over both eyes for a few minutes and gently wipe away – it honestly works like magic! 🙂

For anyone who has sensitive skin, I promise you will not be irritated by this product, it is so gentle on the skin and has even been both dermatologically and ophthalmologist tested. So if you haven’t already tried it and you have been searching high and low for a quality eye make-up remover (that actually works!) try this one from Clarins. It’s available for around €20 from department stores and pharmacies worldwide. 🙂
